If this is the correct direction to go: any thought on whether we are concentrating on the artists, or on the battles portrayed?

Kat, that was a great catch! Didn't even think of that. To build off what Corey was posting, are there any connections between these two and Raph and Donny, besides the amphibious one? Might point us in the direction we have to go next... EDIT: Looks like Mystique is already going along that path! Sorry, trying to keep up on my phone is a bit rough.

So it looks like we now have an actual building that connects Da Vinci and Michelangelo...Palazzo Vecchio!
It is crazy how similar the Medici Lions look like the LT lion logo! and I believe the Medici also owned the Palazzo Vecchio..
LOL, Corey and Boogeyman, we may get all turtles after all!

So it seems that we keep tying back into the Palazzo Vecchio. This is the second time, it seems, that we've run back into this very this place! I think this is something we may have to for sure keep track of. Perhaps see if further emails lead us back there somehow.

"With its maze of corridors, council chambers and dungeons, Palazzo Vecchio was..." yada yada yada. I thought this description was somewhat reminiscent of the description of the building inspired by the Codex, as stated in the email: "...architectural perfection and spiritual purity to be housed in a monastic arrangement of buildings, cloisters and subterranean chambers."

Kathy! You are absolutely killing it tonight! Maybe Palazzo Vecchio is our place! But how does it tie into the LT HQ considering we know it currently resides in Princeton, NJ?

So like a twin? Like Atlanta and Salzburg? Perhaps. Going along those lines, I'm wondering if there are any geographical similarities (names, landmarks, fixtures) that connects New Jersey to where the other building is? Another thing is that there seems to be two parallell things going on in these emails, one being the dates, and the other the longer blocks of text. And I wasn't around for LT '08, but I thought Boris had something to do with the origin of LT. But given these e-mails, that's not the case? Or at least, much later than perhaps thought?

You're right! Duh..I haven't really thought about that... How can there be 2 different dates for the origins of LT? Two different LT's? Or are we just supposed to ignore Boris' time altogether?

Had to go back and review Sean's doc on Mary Agana, but yes, it appears that Boris was involved in the founding of the collective following the incident in 1958 (what a wonderful year!). But the first email indicates groundbreaking for the HQ. Is it possible the Collective existed without a formal HQ for about 20 years - maybe in Boris's basement bar?

Theoretical Research: This would not be the first time that "sister" or "twin" places have come into play before. For Example: Last year's Gothic was located in Carey, Ohio's sister city. - LT HQ Theory: It is possible that the new Legendary Truth HQ is in a duplicate old-style building the resembles the Palazzo Vecchio at Universal itself, or that maybe an artwork that resides there, also has a duplicate in Universal, which would lead to the LT HQ.
- SOCIETY Theory: I theorize that we may be being lead to connect these historical artists for a purpose beyond LT. I think that maybe these artists were part of some sort of Ancient Legendary Truth. Like a secret society built to investigating the paranormal. Which would lead to the reason why LT uses the lion that Mystique mentioned. This would, in fact, discredit Boris Shuster from being the "founder" of Legendary Truth, but instead reviving an old society, possibly by finding the missing Codex.
- NJ Theory: It is also possible that the college in Princeton that LT currently operates out of, houses a masterwork that is related to this investigation.

Since everything seems to point back to Palazzo Vecchio, I found something interesting, but it may just be a coincidence. In the Palazzo, the Apartment of the Elements is located on the second floor and consists of Allegories of Water, Air, Earth and Fire. A while back Goth listed some books and they were discussed on the Horror Unearthed Facebook group; which included water, air, earth and fire.
