Here is a website that will help to find out where the clues from the game can tie to houses from HHNs: www.hhncrypt.com/halloween-horror-nights-history.htmlWhat I found is two houses from HHN 19 the theme that year was "Ripped From The Silver Screen". The two houses that are connected to these games are Leave it to Cleaver which was located in Carey, OH, and The Spawning which was located in Wyandot County, OH. It also makes sense since there was old horror movies that we are trying to find, which I know one was Creature from the Black Lagoon, and one had Lon Chaney jr. (maybe a in it, I know I have seen the one with the weird fake brown alien attacking the people, /used to watch all these with my dad on Saturday afternoons/Friday nights Dr. Shock theater is was called, it played one to two B horror movies and we were the only two that would watch them, quality time with my dad, not typical girl behavior but heck who ever wants to be typical. Will report if I find other connections to Carey, OH. Besides these two houses from the past and to this years house After Life: Death's Vegeance

Found some interesting information about Cindy on Wikipedia, not sure how accurate it is since it is on Wikipedia but thought I would share. The Caretaker was not the original icon for Halloween Horror Nights XII. Cindy, the daughter of mortuary owner Paul Bearer, was originally the icon of the event. In the event's premise, every land would be ruled over by her "playthings". After several child abductions in the area, the Cindy concept was abandoned and her father Paul Bearer morphed into Dr. Albert Caine, also known as The Caretaker.[3] Cindy would eventually appear in 2006's "Scream House Resurrection", and 2009's "Shadows of the Past" and "The Orfanage: Ashes to Ashes". So there were actually two house during HHN20 that were tied to Cindy. Her father is also something of a celebrity here in Florida, not something you would know unless you are older and grew up here, and watched old cheap (not my words) horror movies on Saturday afternoon. I didn't grow up here but my husband did and he recognized the name immediately as Dr. Paul Bearer host of the Creature Feature show on WTOG out of St. Petersburg, FL. The show ran from 1973 - 1995, he gained notoriety as the longest running horror host on television. In 1993 the Mayor of Tampa declared October 30 "Dr. Paul Bearer Day". His real name is Dick Bennick Sr. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halloween_Horror_Nightsen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creature_Feature_(WTOG)

I have tried to post this information twice before think there might be something going on with my computer. Found it before I found the Cindy information.
Here is more information that I have found from HHN 22, 21, and 20,. 21 and 20 are the most important here because they have houses with story lines to the games:
HHN22 house connected to Carey, OH is Dead End.
HHN21 house connection to the game is H.R. Bloodengutz Presents Holiday of Horror, this ties into the murder story.
HHN20 Legendary Truth The Wyandot Estate: Using a machine to gather ghosts, the Spirit seekers are about to get more than they bargained for. (This also ties into what we are researching with the architects.) The Orfanage Ashes to Ashes: this burned out shell of an orphanage contains the souls of the forgotten and the lost, who all scream one name: Cindy. Shadows of The Past, also feature Cindy. Catacombs Black Death Rising: During the plague, the infected were quarantined and trapped beneath the city. Now almost 500 years later, the dead are seeking vengeance. I believe this might be connected to the mask game.
HHN19 house that is tied to that year's icon The Usher was Silver Screens, so I would assume it is also tied into this game.
HHN16 Scream House resurrection finally features Cindy for the first time. HHN12 is when Cindy was first developed as an icon.
